Fire Clinic

Friday, December 29th, 2006

I had a wonderful opportunity to work with the West Michigan Fire Soccer Club.  I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and I had a great time meeting such amazing people. There were three age groups and my goal was to teach them new skills and ideas that they can practice on their own.  We learned a lot, but we had a lot of fun too!

I want to say a special thank you to Brock West for putting so much time, energy and effort into organizing the clinic. It is greatly appreciated!

Thank you to everyone who made this experience such a success.

I hope to see all of you again soon!

Good Luck-

December

Sunday, December 17th, 2006

I am officially a graduate of the University of North Carolina! I just finished my last two classes via the Internet and now I have my college degree.

It is hard to believe that I started college 4 ½ years ago.  It went incredibly fast and I enjoyed every moment.  It has been hard balancing soccer and school and I feel very fortunate to have completed my education while continuing to play soccer.

We qualified for the World Cup in 2007 at the end of November.  We were all so happy to finally qualify and now we can focus on preparing for the World Cup next year.  We have a break for the month of December so I am enjoying some down time.  I am spending lots of time with my family and friends especially with the latest addition to our family my nephew, Will.

Also, I’m doing a clinic with the West Michigan Fire this weekend.  I am really excited about it!

Happy Holidays…….

All the best-
